Why a goat? Because goats are kind of the perfect neurodivergent mascot.
They’re weird.
They don’t follow straight lines.
They climb places they shouldn’t be able to.
They’re loud when they want to be.
They’re stubborn.
They do things their own way.
Goats don’t care in a world where everyone is expected to walk in a neat line. They eat random leaves, climb sideways up cliffs, and manage to survive in areas no one thought they could. Living as a neurodivergent person is somewhat like that.
Our Motto: Getting Out Actual Thoughts
That’s what ADHD Goat is really about.
We’re not here to simplify everything into clear-cut, concise guidance that downplays how chaotic everything is. We speak the truth. The difficult parts. The things you rant about in a group chat with people who understand it, or that you only think about at two in the morning.
Getting out actual thoughts means:
- Speaking honestly about ADHD, autism, anxiety, identity, trauma, and mental health.
- Sharing the truths that don’t fit neatly into self-help books or clickbait articles.
- Creating space for the real conversations that most people are too uncomfortable to have.
- Letting our community be messy, complex, raw, and still valid.
We’re not trying to fix you. We’re not promising perfection. We’re building a place where you can exist as you are, with all your unfiltered, actual thoughts — just like us
Welcome to ADHD Goat. You’re one of us now.
